About Us
Founded in 2018 and adopted into the NHS Framework in 2019 we are committed to providing solutions that enable enhanced learning within the NHS.
Our roots are in simulation but our story is one of a connected future. The ability to connect simulation faculty, trainees and support staff anywhere on the globe to allow collaboration and the sharing of knowledge resource and expertise. Being able to simulate medical scenarios with other hospitals in real-time or with remote experts. These are all goals for a connected future within medical education in the UK and we provide solutions to enable that landscape.
In 2018 we developed the world first Extended Reality Lab (ERL) with the ability to connect to others of its kind. The first steps to bringing simulation into the connected world and in 2020 we launched the XRNET educational network giving education facilities high bandwidth internet access and a private cloud to support the dissemination of national content for Mixed reality systems. In 2022 we launched the first eye tracking Imagine Academy in the West Midlands and we are working on research programs to drive similar innovations into direct clinical support products. In 2023 we launched the Connected Simulation Network (CSN) initiative which brings together these concepts.
